Women of Hope Salad Potluck last week…
The Women of Hope had a fun summer salad potluck last Thursday, and after we enjoyed some great food and fellowship, we met and worked to cut more plastic bags to be used as PLARN. These strips of plastic plarn are used to weave plastic sleeping mats for homeless shelters. So, be sure to be savling your bags for us, because it takes over a THOUSAND BAGS to make one mat! Wow!
Thanks to everyone who come to the salad potluck and then stayed to sort, fold, cut, and repeat a whole lot of bags! Now, that’s teamwork!!
