Hope  Church is a mission-minded church committed to sharing our resources with those less fortunate in our community, in Iowa, in the United States, and around the world.  Our church has generously supported:

• Missionaries Larry and Jane Kies

• Pastor’s discretionary fund for local needs as they arise

• Upper Des Moines

• Bidwell-Riverside Center, Des Moines

• Christmas and Easter meal baskets

• Church World Service

• Thanksgiving Ingathering kits

• Blanket Offerings

• Special offerings

These and other miscellaneous mission giving totaled over eleven thousand dollars.  We respond to Jesus’s calling, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was in prison and you visited me.”  (Matthew 25: 35-36).
